The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has successfully conducted its Ward 10 councillorship primary election in Ido Local Government Area at Elebu, Oke Alaro, with Hon. Obisesan emerging as the party’s candidate for the 2026 local government election.
A total of 16 accredited leaders and stakeholders participated in the process.
The leaders and stakeholders included:

3. Leader Atolagbe
4. Leader Abolode Ayinde
5. Leader Kamorudeen (Represented)
6. Leader Oladokun (Represented)
7. Lawal Lateef
8. Sobowale Mojeed
9. Ologbon Abosede
10. Odunmorayo Segun
11. Atere Abdullah
12. Afolabi Adedayo Damory
13. Alhaji Serifat
14. Hon. Stephen Fapetu (Supervisory councillor for mineral resources
15. Hon. Abolode Kamorudeen (Special Adviser)
16. Hon. Shaib (Special Adviser)

At the end of the keenly contested exercise, Hon. Obisesan secured 9 votes, while Hon. Fakayode polled 7 votes.
With a margin of two votes, Hon. Obisesan was officially declared the winner of the APM Ward 10 councillorship primary and will represent the party in the 2026 Ido Local Government councillorship election.
Party members commended the peaceful conduct of the primary election and expressed optimism that the outcome would strengthen the party’s chances in the forthcoming local government polls.
