The Councillor representing Ward 1 in Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon. Kayode Olayiwola, has described Hon. Abiodun Adekunle Isola BARUWA as the right candidate for Ibadan South West State Constituency I ahead of the 2027 House of Assembly election.

Speaking on the political outlook in the constituency, Hon. Olayiwola said BARUWA’s consistent presence and engagement with residents across the wards have positioned him as a candidate with strong grassroots acceptance.

“Hon. BARUWA is a round peg in the right hole for Constituency I,” Hon. Olayiwola said. “His accessibility and track record of working with the people make him the best fit to represent us in the Oyo State House of Assembly.”

He expressed confidence that BARUWA’s support base across Wards 1 to 6 gives the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) a strong advantage in the upcoming election. According to him, the focus should remain on issue-based campaigns that address youth employment, education, and community development.

“We are mobilizing across the wards to ensure victory for BARUWA and for the PDP in 2027,” he added.
