The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has concluded its primary elections held today in Oluyole Local Government, Oyo State, producing candidates for the House of Representatives, Senate, and State House of Assembly. The exercise recorded strong participation from party members and stakeholders across the constituency, reflecting a smooth and competitive internal democratic process.

In the House of Representatives primary for Oluyole Federal Constituency, Hon. Tokunbo Ogunsola emerged victorious with a total of 1,414 votes. He defeated other contenders including Hon. Francis Adetunji, who polled 118 votes, Hon. Olaide Ishola with 75 votes, and Hon. Olusina Joh Ogunsola who secured 66 votes, bringing the total votes cast to 1,654.
For the Senate, in the Oyo Central Senatorial District primary, Hon. Kamil Akinlabi Mudasiru clinched the ticket after securing 1,560 votes from Oluyole Local Government. His opponent, Hon. Festus Adewale Adegoke, scored 94 votes in the contest.


Meanwhile, for the Oyo State House of Assembly seat in Oluyole State Constituency, Hon. Dolapo Adelana emerged unopposed as the party’s candidate, following a consensus arrangement. The outcome completes the list of ADC candidates from the Oluyole primaries ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
