Hon. Babatunde George Ige, BGI, has praised Governor Seyi Makinde’s contributions to Oyo State’s development, saying his efforts have etched his name in gold in Nigerian politics. The governor’s achievements in infrastructure, agriculture, education, and healthcare have been notable, with projects like the Ibadan Circular Road, Fasola Agribusiness Hub, and LAUTECH expansion showcasing his commitment to progress.

 

Governor Makinde’s focus on human capital development and institutional building has also earned him recognition. He’s implemented policies like free education, teacher recruitment, and prompt salary payments, aiming to uplift the state’s youth and women.

 

 

 

His administration has also made strides in agriculture, with initiatives like the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA) and the relocation of its headquarters to Saki.

 

Hon. Babatunde George Ige, BGI, is optimistic about PDP’s chances in Oyo State, citing Governor Seyi Makinde’s effective governance. Speaking at a political discourse, Ige highlighted his own efforts to serve Ibadan South West Constituency 11, emphasizing that his experience is crucial to delivering impactful representation and lawmaking. Ige’s remarks suggest that Makinde’s good work is creating a favorable environment for PDP’s growth in the state.
