*Hijrah 1448 AH: Wale Canada Felicitates Muslims, Urges Faith, Unity and Commitment to Peaceful Coexistence*

Saki-East, Oyo State – The Member representing Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi, has extended warm congratulations to Muslim faithful across Atisbo, Saki-East, Oyo State, Nigeria, and the global Muslim Ummah on the commencement of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1448 AH.

In a goodwill message released to commemorate the new Islamic calendar year, Hon. Wale Canada described the Hijrah as a significant period of spiritual reflection, renewal of faith, sacrifice, perseverance, and unwavering trust in God.

He noted that the migration of the Holy Prophet, Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), from Makkah to Madinah remains a timeless lesson in courage, patience, leadership, and dedication to noble ideals.

The lawmaker stated that the occasion presents an opportunity for individuals, families, communities, and leaders to reassess their values, strengthen their commitment to righteousness, and contribute meaningfully to societal development.

According to him, “The celebration of Hijrah reminds us that meaningful progress often requires sacrifice, resilience, and collective responsibility. As we begin a new Islamic year, I encourage all Muslims and residents of our constituency to embrace the virtues of peace, compassion, honesty, tolerance, and mutual respect.”

Hon. Wale Canada further called on citizens to continue supporting efforts aimed at promoting unity, peaceful coexistence, youth development, quality education, economic empowerment, and sustainable community growth across Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

He emphasized that despite prevailing challenges, Nigerians must remain hopeful and work together in fostering an inclusive society where justice, equity, and opportunities are accessible to all.

The legislator prayed for divine guidance, protection, and abundant blessings for Muslim faithful and the entire nation throughout the new Islamic year, expressing hope that Hijrah 1448 AH would usher in greater peace, prosperity, progress, and renewed opportunities for all.
