Ibadan, Oyo State – In a tragic turn of events, the chairman of Agidigbo FM, Oriyomi Hamzat, has been hospitalized after slumping and losing consciousness due to shock over the devastating funfair stampede in Ibadan.

According to a reliable source, who wished to remain anonymous, the chairman is currently receiving medical attention at a hospital in Ibadan.

The source revealed that Hamzat was overcome with grief and unable to cope with the shock of the tragedy, which resulted in the deaths of 35 children and left six others critically injured.

The ill-fated funfair, organized by Wings Foundation and media partners Agidigbo FM, ended in chaos when a stampede occurred, leading to the tragic loss of life. The incident has sparked widespread outrage and condemnation, with many calling for those responsible to be held accountable.

The hospitalization of Oriyomi Hamzat serves as a poignant reminder of the profound impact of the tragedy on those involved. As the community continues to grapple with the aftermath of the incident, it is essential that support and resources are made available to those affected.
