Popoyemoja Youth Forum, a youth socio-organisation in Popoyemoja of Ibadan South West Local Government, has congratulated Hon. Maruf Olakunle Busari (GOODU GOODU) on his emergence as the governorship candidate of the Accord Party in Oyo State.
The forum said the victory of the Popoyemoja-born business tycoon on the platform of the Accord Party is a testament to his competence and good-heartedness.
PYF said Hon. Busari has a proven track record of reaching out to the less privileged, an act considered important for a compassionate leader to lead Oyo State from 2027 and beyond.
The secretary of the group, Mr Yusuf Adebisi, said Busari has brought tremendous development to Popoyemoja through the provision of financial aid to market women, scholarships, and numerous other developmental projects for the community.
OYF pledged its support and promised to rally support across Oyo State to ensure his candidacy materialises at the polls during the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State.
