UCSS Omi-Adio 2026 Inter-House Sports: Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji Champions Youth Development With Trophy and Cash Gifts to Winners And Teachers

Ibadan – 21st May 2026 – The sports field of United Christian Secondary School, UCSS, Omi-Adio, Ibadan, came alive on Thursday as students, teachers, parents, and stakeholders gathered for the school’s 2026 Inter-House Sports and Athletics Competition. The event, which commenced at 10:00 a.m., celebrated athletic excellence while underscoring the role of education and community support in shaping the future of Oyo State’s youth.

Hon. Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, KSA, who served as Chairman of the Occasion, commended the school management for sustaining a tradition that integrates academic discipline with physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership. The competition featured keenly contested track and field events, relay races, and field displays that highlighted the talent, energy, and sportsmanship of students across the houses.

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the championship trophy to the winning house by Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, alongside cash gifts for student winners and the teachers who trained and guided them. The gesture drew wide applause and was described by attendees as a strong statement of support for grassroots education and youth empowerment.
