Members of Eleyele Youth Forum on Tuesday paid a solidarity visit to the Director General of Youth Mobilization for Omituntun 3.0, Ambassador Kazeem Bolarinwa, where they declared their support for the presidential ambition of Governor Seyi Makinde and the governorship aspiration of Dr. Bimbo Adekanmbi.
The youth group, drawn from Eleyele and adjoining communities in Ibadan North West Local Government, said the visit was to align with the Omituntun 3.0 movement and to drum support for leaders they believe can consolidate on the gains of the Makinde administration.
Speaking during the visit, leaders of the forum said Governor Seyi Makinde has redefined governance in Oyo State through investments in infrastructure, education, health, and youth empowerment. They added that it is time for him to take his brand of leadership to the national stage.
“We have seen what GSM has done in Oyo State. Ibadan has become a model city. Roads, schools, and security have improved. We believe Nigeria needs that kind of leadership in 2027, and that is why we are declaring our support for Governor Seyi Makinde for President,” one of the forum leaders said.

On the 2027 Oyo governorship race, the group threw its weight behind Dr. Bimbo Adekanmbi, describing him as a technocrat with capacity, experience, and understanding of the state’s economy.
“We are also declaring our support for Dr. Bimbo Adekanmbi for Governor of Oyo State. We believe he has the competence to sustain and expand Omituntun 3.0,” the group added.
Receiving the delegation, Ambassador Kazeem Bolarinwa, DG Youth Mobilization for Omituntun 3.0, commended the Eleyele Youth Forum for the visit and for mobilizing grassroots support early.
He said the Omituntun 3.0 agenda is about continuity, inclusion, and giving youths a real seat at the table of governance. He urged the youths to remain peaceful, organized, and focused on issue-based mobilization ahead of 2027.
Ambassador Bolarinwa assured the group that the Youth Mobilization team will continue to engage communities across the 33 local governments to ensure that the legacies of Governor Makinde are protected and expanded.
The visit ended with prayers for peace in Oyo State and Nigeria, and a call on other youth groups to join the movement for continuity.
The Eleyele Youth Forum delegation was led by its coordinator and other executives from the Eleyele axis.
