Following the defection of Hon. Oyeleke Simeon Adegbola, Special Adviser on Budget and Economic Planning, from the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Hon. Oladipupo Sunday Adebayo, popularly known as Rule of Law, has dismissed rumours suggesting that he has resigned from the party or engaged in alleged anti-party activities.
Speaking with Naija24hrs News, Hon. Adebayo categorically dismissed the claims, insisting that he remains firmly in the APM and loyal to the political leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.
He reaffirmed his continued support for Governor Seyi Makinde’s presidential ambition, Bimbo Adekanmbi’s governorship aspiration in Oyo State, as well as all APM candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Adebayo, who serves as Secretary to the Local Government under the chairmanship of Hon. Seun Adesoye Ojo in Ogo-Oluwa Local Government Area, maintained that his political position remains unchanged, stressing his commitment to the vision and developmental agenda of the Makinde-led political leadership.

His clarification comes amid growing political realignments and defections across Oyo State, particularly following recent developments within the APM. However, he maintained that his political conviction and support for the party remain intact.
With the 2027 general elections approaching, Hon. Adebayo’s declaration further reinforces his determination to remain in the APM and support its candidates across the state.
His message is unequivocal: He has not resigned from the APM, remains loyal to Governor Seyi Makinde, and continues to support the party and its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Signed
HON OLADIPUPO SUNDAY
SECRETARY TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT
OGO OLUWA.
