APM IBADAN SOUTH WEST CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE CONGRATULATES GOV. MAKINDE, WIFE ON CHIEFTAINCY TITLES IN IBARAPALAND

The APM Chairmanship Candidate for Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon. Idris Adewale Akanbi, has congratulated His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, and his wife, Engr. Tamunomini Makinde, on their conferment as Aare Asoludero of Ibarapaland and Yeye Aare Asoludero of Ibarapaland respectively.

The chieftaincy titles were conferred on the Governor and his wife by all Obas in Ibarapaland during the 1st coronation ceremony of the Eleruwa of Eruwa, His Royal Majesty Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, Ajobo Olurin I, at his palace in Eruwa on Friday.

In a congratulatory message, Hon. Akanbi described the conferment as a well-deserved recognition of Governor Makinde’s commitment to inclusive governance, cultural preservation, and the development of Ibarapaland and Oyo State at large.

According to him, the honour bestowed on Governor Makinde and Engr. Tamunomini Makinde reflects the love, respect, and appreciation of the people of Ibarapaland for the Omituntun administration’s contributions to peace, unity, and development across the state.

I heartily congratulate our leader, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, and our dear mother, Engr. Tamunomini Makinde, on this prestigious recognition as Aare Asoludero and Yeye Aare Asoludero of Ibarapaland,” Hon. Akanbi stated.

“This chieftaincy title is a confirmation to your selfless service, people-oriented leadership, and the positive impact of the Omituntun agenda in all zones of Oyo State. The people of Ibarapaland have spoken with one voice through their royal fathers, and we celebrate with them.”

Hon. Akanbi further prayed that the new titles would bring more wisdom, strength, and divine guidance to Governor Makinde as he continues to pilot the affairs of the state under Omituntun 3.0.

The conferment ceremony, which formed part of activities marking the 1st coronation anniversary of the Eleruwa, brought together traditional rulers, government functionaries, political leaders, and sons and daughters of Ibarapaland to celebrate culture, unity, and leadership.
