Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke-Adefemi, paid a courtesy visit to the management of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) on Tuesday, expressing her appreciation for the team’s impressive performance in the just concluded season.
During the visit, the Commissioner held a closed-door meeting with the management team, including Executive Chairman Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, General Manager Dimeji Lawal, Director of Finance and Administration Mrs Abiodun Oyeyemi, Administrative Secretary Babayemi A.T., and coach Gbenga Ogunbote.
According to Honourable Olaniyan, the meeting focused on the team’s progress and strategies for the upcoming season, including efforts to retain coach Gbenga Ogunbote and key players. “This meeting marks the beginning of our preparations for the next season and our commitment to keeping our talented coach and core squad,” he stated.
The visit and meeting underscore the Commissioner’s support for the team and her desire to see 3SC continue to thrive. With the backing of stakeholders, supporters, and fans, the management is poised to build on the team’s recent success and ensure a bright future for the Oluyole Warriors.
Commissioner also expressed her appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for his support for Shooting Stars Sports Club during the recently concluded season . She appreciated the Governor for his unwavering support for Shooting Stars Sports Club, including his presence at the last game. She thanked the Governor for his commitment to the team’s success and acknowledged his dedication to youth development and sports in Oyo State.
