Stakeholders of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ido Local Government have reaffirmed that Hon. Rasaq Mabaje remains the party’s duly recognized and consensus Chairmanship candidate for the forthcoming local government election.
In a statement issued after the party’s primary election, the stakeholders urged party members, supporters, and the general public to disregard any individual parading himself as the APM Chairmanship candidate for Ido Local Government.
According to the stakeholders, the party has successfully concluded its chairmanship primary in line with the guidelines of the party and the supervision of the relevant electoral authorities, with Hon. Rasaq Mabaje emerging as the winner.
They emphasized that there is no dispute over the outcome of the primary, stressing that Hon. Mabaje is the authentic consensus candidate of the party.

The stakeholders called on all APM faithful in Ido Local Government to remain united, loyal, and committed to working for the party’s victory in the forthcoming local government election, while ignoring what they described as false claims and the activities of fake candidates.
They further urged members to focus on mobilizing support for Hon. Rasaq Mabaje and all APM candidates to ensure a resounding victory at the polls.
