ODIDIOMO Unveils Seun Adelore as Campaign DG for Oyo South Senate Race

The Oyo South Senatorial candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM), Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, popularly known as Odidiomo, has formally unveiled Prince Seun Moronfolu Adelore as the Director-General of the Odidiomo Campaign Organization, describing the appointment as a strategic step toward strengthening the party’s political structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The unveiling ceremony, held on Friday morning, followed the formal appointment of Adelore through a personally signed letter by the senatorial candidate. The former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain will oversee the campaign across the nine local government areas that make up the Oyo South Senatorial District.

Speaking at the event, Odidiomo said the appointment was carefully considered and reflected his determination to assemble an experienced, disciplined, and result-oriented campaign team capable of securing victory for the Allied Peoples’ Movement in 2027.

He noted that Adelore’s wealth of political experience, proven leadership, organizational competence, and long-standing commitment to grassroots mobilization made him the ideal choice for the position.

According to Odidiomo, the Director-General will provide strategic leadership for the campaign organization, coordinate campaign committees, mobilize stakeholders, promote party unity, and ensure the effective implementation of the campaign’s objectives throughout Oyo South.

The APM senatorial candidate emphasized that his campaign would be driven by the principles of integrity, service, accountability, inclusion, and responsible leadership. He stressed that the movement is committed to earning the confidence of the electorate through issue-based campaigns and people-oriented programmes.

Expressing confidence in his new campaign director, Odidiomo said Prince Adelore would discharge his responsibilities with dedication, wisdom, and fairness while building an inclusive campaign structure that accommodates all interests within the party.

He added that the appointment marks the beginning of a more coordinated political engagement as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum across the district.

In his acceptance speech, Prince Seun Moronfolu Adelore expressed gratitude to Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide for the confidence reposed in him, describing the appointment as both a great honour and a solemn responsibility.

He said his decision to accept the position was based on his conviction that Odidiomo possesses the character, capacity, and leadership qualities required to provide effective representation for the people of Oyo South in the Senate.

Adelore pledged to deploy his political experience and organizational skills to build a formidable campaign machinery that would unite party members, expand the party’s support base, and deliver victory for the Allied Peoples’ Movement in the 2027 elections.

He further assured party leaders, youths, women, support groups, and other stakeholders that the campaign organization would operate an open-door policy founded on consultation, inclusiveness, and mutual respect.

The newly appointed Director-General also disclosed that consultations would immediately commence across the nine local government areas of Oyo South Senatorial District to harmonize existing political structures and ensure every segment of the campaign works toward a common objective. He appealed to party members to remain united, disciplined, and focused on achieving electoral success in 2027.

Prince Seun Moronfolu Adelore is a respected grassroots politician in Oyo State. He previously served as Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government and later as Chairman of the Forum of the 33 PDP Local Government Chairmen during Governor Seyi Makinde’s first term in office. He also played a significant role in grassroots mobilization during the 2019 governorship election and once served as Chairman of the Oyo State Waste Management Agency.
