Hon.Yomi Olajide, popularly known as Royal Umbrella, yesterday, Thursday, August 6, 2026, attended the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward 9 meeting in Ibadan North Local Government, where he received a rousing and heartfelt welcome from party leaders and members.
Upon his arrival, Hon. Olajide was warmly received by the APC Ward 9 Chairman, Pastor Adewale Kehinde, the APC Ibadan North Constituency II House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Steve Adeyoju, former Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Omilabu Ghandi, alongside other distinguished party leaders and stakeholders.
The atmosphere at the meeting was filled with excitement as members expressed their joy and appreciation at Hon. Olajide’s presence, describing his defection as an added advantage to the All Progressive Party in Oyo State and Ibadan North in particular.
In his remarks, Hon. Abayomi Olajide appreciated the leadership and members of Ward 9 for their steadfast loyalty and dedication to the party. As part of his support for the party, Hon. Olajide donated cash gifts to party leaders and members present. He also provided food items to further support and encourage the members, a gesture that was received with gratitude and loud applause.
