As Ibadan South East Local Government prepares for its next chairmanship election, community leaders and residents are rallying behind Hon. Saheed Abimbola aka Owonifaari, describing him as “the right man with the right vision” to lead the council.

Stakeholders say Owonifaari stands out among aspirants because of his deep understanding of grassroots needs and his clear plan to address challenges across all wards in the local government. They argue that his track record of community engagement and development-focused ideas makes him the candidate best positioned to deliver results.

“The Right Man, The Right Vision: Why Bimbo Owonifaari Stands Out for Ibadan South East Chair,” residents said during a recent town hall meeting. According to them, Ibadan South East needs a chairman who can combine experience with fresh ideas to improve healthcare, education, market infrastructure, and youth empowerment.

Supporters point to Owonifaari’s consistent presence in community activities and his ability to listen before acting. They believe that approach will translate to policies that reflect the real priorities of people in wards across the local government.

Political observers note that chairmanship contests in Ibadan South East often come down to credibility and connection with the grassroots. Owonifaari’s backers say his vision focuses on practical solutions rather than rhetoric, with emphasis on completing ongoing projects and initiating new ones that have direct impact.

As campaigns gather momentum ahead of the Oyo State local government polls, the endorsement of Bimbo Owonifaari as the right man for the job is expected to shape discussions in markets, community associations, and political gatherings across Ibadan South East.

Residents say the choice of chairman will determine the pace of development in the next council term, and for many, Owonifaari represents the combination of leadership and vision needed to move the local government forward
