Political loyalty is most meaningful when it is rooted in conviction, trust, and a genuine belief in purposeful representation. As we approach the 2027 general elections, I, Icon Yusuf Akande Yusluv, wish to state my position regarding the representation of Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency.

My support for Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin (AAA) is informed by the constituency interventions and development initiatives associated with his representation. I believe that education, healthcare, infrastructure, security, and economic empowerment are essential areas in which elected representatives should work to improve the lives of their constituents.

KEY AREAS OF CONSTITUENCY DEVELOPMENT

Among the initiatives highlighted in connection with his representation are:

1. Education: Construction of a six-classroom block at St. Joseph Primary School, Ile-Aperin, alongside educational support for students.

2. Road Infrastructure: Road construction and rehabilitation initiatives, including a reported 500-metre road project around Adekile Goodwill, Olubadan High School, Orita-Aperin.

3. Electricity and Security: Installation of solar-powered streetlights in communities and markets, as well as security-related interventions aimed at improving public safety.

4. Healthcare: Mobile medical clinics, community health outreaches, and the provision of medical equipment and supplies to support healthcare delivery.

5. Youth Empowerment: Digital skills training, laptop distribution, vocational training, and financial assistance intended to expand opportunities for young people.

6. Women and Market Traders: Empowerment initiatives involving business grants, vocational equipment, and support for traders and artisans.

7. Access to Clean Water: Borehole projects reportedly undertaken in September 2026 to improve access to water in communities across Ibadan North-East and Ibadan South-East.

These are important areas for public assessment, and the reported projects and interventions should be evaluated alongside their implementation status, reach, and impact on the lives of the people.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2027

While no elected representative is above constructive criticism, I believe that a fair assessment of leadership should consider documented achievements, outstanding commitments, and the needs of the people.

As we look towards 2027, the priority should be to consolidate existing interventions, address unmet community needs, and pursue additional opportunities for development across Ibadan North-East and Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency.

I also encourage young people, women, community leaders, and all eligible voters to participate actively in the democratic process, examine the records and proposals of political candidates, and make informed decisions about the future of their constituency.

My position remains clear: I, Icon Yusuf Akande Yusluv, stand firmly with Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin (AAA). My support reflects my personal confidence in his representation and my hope for sustained development throughout Ibadan North-East and Ibadan South-East.

To my fellow constituents, I express my faith in our collective ability to pursue progress and demand responsive representation. Above all, I place my trust in Almighty God to guide our decisions and bless our communities.

May our collective efforts produce a future characterised by greater opportunities, improved infrastructure, accessible healthcare, quality education, and meaningful economic empowerment.

AAA IS THE ANSWER!

As we approach 2027, may our democratic choices reflect our convictions, our expectations, and our aspirations for the future of our constituency.
