Hon. Jimoh Adisa Olabisi, commonly referred to as JAO, has secured the nomination for the Oorelope state Constituency seat from the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in anticipation of the 2027 general elections.

Olabisi obtained the party’s ticket after the successful primary congress held on May 28, 2026, within the Oorelope Constituency, attended by representatives from security agencies and INEC.
The primary was characterized as peaceful, transparent, and well-organized, drawing participation from numerous party members and supporters throughout the constituency, according to party stakeholders.

Following his nomination, JAO expressed gratitude to God, Governor Seyi Makinde, the Executive Chairman of Oorelope Local Government, and the leadership and members of the APM for their trust in him. He assured constituents of dedicated representation and a people-centered leadership approach if elected in the upcoming elections.


He committed to advocating for initiatives that foster job creation, economic empowerment, youth development, enhanced opportunities, grassroots projects, and a stronger advocacy for the constituency’s welfare.


JAO also urged party members and supporters to maintain unity and a shared commitment to strengthening the APM as the elections approach.

Political analysts view his nomination as a significant event in the Oorelope state Constituency’s political arena, highlighting his increasing popularity and grassroots backing.
