Hon. Ganiyat Olawore, a prominent political figure and native of Ibadan South East Local Government Area in Oyo State, has formally declared her intention to run for the House of Representatives seat representing the Ibadan South East/North East Federal Constituency in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
She will contest under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC), aligning her campaign with the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
With a wealth of political experience and strong grassroots connections, Hon. Olawore has previously held various significant positions, including her role as Special Assistant on Political Matters, Community Relations, and Agriculture.
Her experience also encompasses key responsibilities in political mobilization and campaign efforts, such as:
– Serving as the Coordinator for Market Women and Men in Oyo State for the Tinubu/ Shettima Campaign Organization (OTISHE)
– Oyo State Representative for the APC Progressive Young Women Forum
– Being a member of the Protocol and Logistics Committee for the Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council during the 2023 elections
