In a commendable recognition of his outstanding leadership and dedication, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has been honored with the esteemed title of Best Governor of the Year by Leadership Newspaper.
The accolade, which underscores his remarkable performance and leadership prowess since assuming office, highlights his unwavering commitment to excellence in governance.
A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Oyo state, Mogaji Dr Akin Fagbemi has said Governor Seyi Makinde’ unprecedented record of achievements will enable him to break the jinx of installing a successor.
He said this while congratulating the Governor on his Honour as the best Governor of the Year Award bestowed on him by Leadership Newspaper in Abuja on Tuesday.
Mogaji as he is foundly called said the award is an acknowledgement and appreciation of Governor Makinde’s genuine intention to make Oyo state a place of pride.
“Oyo state have never had it soo good since its creation about forty eight years ago, the unbeatable records of achievements and peoples oriented projects which cuts across the geopolitical zones and all sectors in the state are already helping the course of advancing the lots of residents of Oyo state”
” The award is a challenge to do more for the people and i am confident that my governor will not betray the confidence reposes in him by the electorates”
