44th Olubadan Coronation: Ibadan NorthWest Council Boss Felicitates Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alhaji AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju, has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his coronation and official presentation of  staff of office as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland by  the Executive Governor of Oyo State,His Excellency, Engr.Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde.

The Chairman in his congratulatory  message extolled the rare leadership qualities and enduring legacies of Oba Senator Ladoja, describing him as a monarch with uncommon wisdom, courage, and a deep understanding of the traditional institution. He maintained that
Oba Ladoja’s ascension is not only a blessing to the ancient city of Ibadan but also a significant step towards reinforcing the cultural heritage and unity of Ibadanland.

The Council Boss further commended the Executive Governor of the state,His Excellency, Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, for his exemplary leadership and unshakable dedication to the peace and stability of traditional institutions in Oyo State. The Chairman  noted that the smooth and peaceful transition to the new Olubadan, is a clear demonstration of the Governor’s understanding of Ibadan’s unique chieftaincy structure and his commitment to the rule of law and due process.

Alhaji Adepoju also lauded the efforts of the Olubadan-in-Council, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), and other stakeholders for their unity and tireless dedication to ensuring a smooth coronation process.

Alh Adepoju congratulated members  of  Ibadan Northwest Local Government  Traditional  Council under  the leadership of Oba Kola Daisi on the emergence  of the new Olubadan. He pledged the continued  support  of Ibadan Northwest Local Government  for the Olubadan  stool and  its vision.

Meanwhile,the  Executive chairman called on all sons and daughters of Ibadan, both at home and abroad, to continue supporting His Imperial Majesty Oba Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja as he begins the sacred journey of leadership.
He expressed his confidence that the reign of Oba Ladoja will bring about greater development, cultural revival, economic progress and stronger unity among Ibadan indigenes.
