Ambassador Oyedeji Olusegun Abayomi has expressed his support for Hon. Odidi Omo, the Federal Constituency Representative for Ibadan South West and North West, to run for the Governorship of the Oyo State under the PDP ticket in 2027. He believes that with the backing of key stakeholders, including the Lord, GSM, HC Prince Dotun Oyelade, and others include PWDs , Hon. Odidi Omo will continue to build on the progress made so far, drive development, and elevate governance to new heights.

It’s worth noting that Ambassador Oyedeji Olusegun Abayomi has been a vocal advocate for disability inclusion and youth empowerment. He has received recognition for his efforts, including an award for Outstanding Youth Ambassador Additionally, he has called on leaders like Hon. Stanley to prioritize disability inclusion and review policies to better support Hon. Odidi Omo for the next Governor of Oyo State in 2027.

Oyo State stands out among Nigerian states for its dynamic and effective leadership. Since Engr. Seyi Makinde assumed office in 2019, the state has experienced rapid development, exceeding the expectations of most people. This progress underscores the importance of carefully selecting the next governor with discernment.

With preparations for the 2027 elections already underway, the urgency for clear leadership has never been more pronounced. The people seek change and desire visionary leaders. Therefore, the process of selecting a candidate for the next election must be meticulous and intentional.

Amidst this landscape, one name consistently emerges: Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide, the esteemed Member of the Federal House of Representatives for Ibadan North West/South West. Affectionately known as “Odidi Omo,” Olajide is seen by many as a beacon of hope and progressive vision for Oyo State.

Public sentiment strongly favors Olajide, who brings a unique blend of experience, leadership, and dedication to public service. A review of available archival materials and general surveys validates the findings of political analysts regarding Olajide’s promising potential as the next star of Oyo.

Olajide’s journey began in the vibrant Akuru family of Agbeni, Ibadan. He attended Methodist High School before earning a B.Sc. in Information Technology from Rutgers University in New Jersey. With nearly 25 years of experience at Fortune 50 companies in the United States, he possesses a deep understanding of technology and governance in our increasingly tech-driven world.

Since 2019, Olajide’s tenure in the National Assembly has been marked by significant legislative contributions. He has actively sponsored numerous motions and bills, addressing pressing issues such as environmental degradation. His first motion was a call to action on urgent environmental challenges faced by his constituents, highlighting his commitment to sustainable development from the moment he took office.
