2027: OTOPE Hails Makinde’s APM Alliance, Rallies Support for Governor’s Presidential Ambition

APM’s House of Representatives candidate for Egbeda/Ona-Ara, Hon. (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), has thrown his full weight behind Governor Seyi Makinde’s alliance with the party and his 2027 presidential ambition.

Speaking to journalists Thursday after the Unity Mega Rally in Ibadan, OTOPE branded the alliance a political masterstroke. “This partnership,” he said, “will redraw Oyo State’s political map ahead of 2027.”

He praised Makinde’s inclusive, forward-leaning style of governance and stressed that the coalition would deepen APM’s grassroots roots while building a launchpad for the governor’s national ambition.

OTOPE was direct about the stakes. “The presidential ambition unveiled today speaks to the rising confidence in our party. APM is ready to offer Nigerians purposeful leadership and real alternatives.”

He gave a flat-out assurance on the upcoming polls: “Victory in Egbeda/Ona-Ara is non-negotiable. We are united, committed, and battle-ready to deliver every one of our candidates.”

The Unity Mega Rally drew a large crowd of party loyalists, supporters, and political stakeholders from across the state. Speaker after speaker drove home the same message, unity and collaboration are the weapons for the fights ahead.

OTOPE closed with a forceful endorsement: Governor Makinde’s performance in Oyo State has earned him the credibility to compete for the Presidency. He urged the party faithful and voters to fully embrace the coalition, calling it the surest path to electoral triumph and lasting political harmony.
