Forum of Secretaries to the Local Government Backs Makinde for Presidency, Endorses Bimbo Adekanmbi as Successor

The Forum of Secretaries to the Local Government in Oyo State has declared its support for the presidential ambition of Seyi Makinde while also endorsing Bimbo Adekanmbi as a worthy successor to continue the Omituntun administration in the state.

The declaration was made during a well-attended event held at Mapo Hall, where the State Coordinator of the forum, Hon. Temitope Alice Aworele, spoke on behalf of the 33 Secretaries to the Local Governments across Oyo State.

According to Aworele, the forum is committed to supporting a capable and visionary leader who can sustain and expand the people-oriented and progressive policies introduced under the current administration.

The forum commended Governor Makinde’s leadership style and developmental strides, especially following his recent indication of interest in contesting for the presidency of Nigeria.

In furtherance of its commitment, the group pledged to embark on an intensive grassroots mobilization campaign across all local government areas in the state to ensure the success of Governor Makinde’s presidential ambition and the emergence of Bimbo Adekanmbi as the next governor of Oyo State.

The forum emphasized that the initiative is essential to preserving and consolidating the achievements recorded under the Omituntun administration while advancing the vision of an “Omituntun 3.0” agenda for the people of Oyo State.
