Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi JP, popularly known as Wale Canada, has expressed profound appreciation to his family, friends, colleagues, political associates, party members, constituents and well-wishers at home and abroad for the overwhelming outpouring of love, goodwill and warm wishes extended to him as he celebrated his birthday on August 10.
The Oyo State lawmaker, representing Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency, described the numerous congratulatory messages, prayers, calls, visits and goodwill gestures received from across the country and beyond as deeply touching, noting that they reflected the bonds of friendship, fellowship, solidarity and mutual respect shared over the years.
Wale Canada acknowledged that his birthday was made particularly memorable by the presence, messages and thoughtful gestures of numerous individuals and groups who took the time to celebrate his life, journey and service with him.
He expressed special appreciation to members of his immediate and extended family, friends, colleagues at the Oyo State House of Assembly, political leaders and associates, party members, community leaders, religious leaders, constituents and all other well-wishers who celebrated with him in various ways.

The lawmaker also recognised the distinguished personalities and dignitaries who honoured him with their messages, visits and goodwill, as well as those who celebrated him through various platforms from within Nigeria and abroad.
According to him, the outpouring of affection and goodwill was not something he took for granted, stressing that every call, message, prayer, visit and gesture of goodwill was sincerely valued and deeply appreciated.
He said the celebration also offered him an opportunity to reflect on the responsibilities that come with leadership and public service, reaffirming his commitment to continue serving the people with humility, dedication, accountability and a deep sense of responsibility.
Wale Canada further expressed gratitude to the good people of Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency for their continued support, prayers and confidence, noting that their encouragement remains a significant source of strength in his public service journey.
He also noted that the birthday celebrations are still ongoing, with further activities scheduled to hold on Friday, August 14, and Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Community High School, Idi-Emini, Sepeteri. He expressed delight at the continued show of love and solidarity from family, friends, political associates, constituents, community members and well-wishers, as the celebration continues.
He prayed for God’s continued blessings, protection, good health and prosperity for everyone who celebrated with him, while expressing hope that the bonds of unity, friendship, solidarity and goodwill among them would continue to grow stronger.
