The former Council Chairman of Aare Latosa LCDA in Ibadan North and chieftain of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM), Hon. Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji, popularly known as OmoBao, has congratulated the former Oyo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Hon. Mrs. Toyin Balogun, on her appointment as the Presidential National Women Coordinator for the Seyi Makinde/Duara Campaign.
OmoBao, in a congratulatory statement made available to Naija24hrs News, described the appointment as a recognition of Balogun’s pedigree, antecedents and years of dedicated service, noting that her experience in public service had prepared her for greater responsibilities at the national level.
He said he had always expected Balogun to receive a higher national assignment, given her track record, commitment and experience in public service.
According to him, her appointment demonstrates confidence in her capacity to contribute to the campaign’s women mobilisation and organisational activities at the national level.

OmoBao also commended Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for what he described as the wisdom of placing the right person in the right position.
He expressed confidence that Balogun would bring her wealth of experience, organisational capacity and commitment to bear on her new responsibility, while wishing her success in the assignment.
“Her appointment is a testament to her pedigree and antecedents. I have always expected nothing short of a higher national responsibility for her, and I am confident she will justify the confidence reposed in her,” he said.
