Hon. Hamzat Muideen Olowe, a former Councillor representing Ward 6 in Ibadan South West Local Government, has officially declared his ambition to once again serve the people of the ward. His declaration has been met with enthusiasm and widespread support from residents who remember his impactful tenure.

One of Hon. Olowe’s most notable achievements was the clearing and construction of the drainage system in the Ita Barika area of Ward 6. The project significantly improved environmental sanitation, reduced flooding, and enhanced the living conditions of residents. This lasting intervention remains one of the key reasons many constituents continue to appreciate his leadership.

Beyond infrastructure, Hon. Olowe built a reputation as a grassroots leader who remained accessible to the people, listened to their concerns, and worked tirelessly to address community needs. His commitment to the welfare and development of Ward 6 earned him the trust and respect of many residents.

Supporters believe that his proven record of performance, dedication to public service, and understanding of the challenges facing the ward make him the right choice for another term. They argue that re-electing him will ensure continuity in community development and bring more dividends of democracy to the people.

As the political process gathers momentum, many residents of Ward 6 have continued to express confidence in Hon. Hamzat Muideen Olowe, describing him as a leader whose achievements speak louder than campaign promises. His previous service has become a benchmark for effective representation, strengthening calls for his return to the council to continue the work of transforming Ward 6 for the benefit of all.
