Early Life and Educational Background
A native of Oyo town, Surveyor Tijani Oyedele Muideen began his educational journey at L.A. Primary School, Saabo, where he obtained his primary education before proceeding to Isale Oyo Community Grammar School for his secondary education.

Determined to pursue a career in the built environment, he enrolled at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, where he earned a National Diploma. He subsequently attended the Federal School of Surveying, Oyo, where he obtained a Higher National Diploma in Surveying.
His passion for professional excellence led him to further his education through a Professional Diploma in Surveying and Geo-Informatics. Having successfully completed the professional examinations of the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON), he qualified as a licensed surveyor, joining the ranks of professionals certified to practise surveying in Nigeria.
Not content with stopping there, Surveyor Muideen expanded his academic horizon by obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University Oye-Ekiti. According to him, education remains a continuous journey, and he is currently making preparations to commence postgraduate studies as part of his commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
Professional Career
Surveyor Muideen’s professional background reflects years of technical expertise in surveying, land administration, engineering, and infrastructure-related services. His training and experience have provided him with practical knowledge in project planning, land management, mapping, engineering support services, and physical development.
His exposure to the technical aspects of infrastructure development has also shaped his understanding of the critical role local governments play in providing basic amenities, maintaining public infrastructure, and promoting orderly physical development within communities.
Journey in Public Service
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Surveyor Muideen has amassed significant experience in public administration through various leadership positions within Atiba Local Government.
His first major appointment came in 2008 when he was appointed Supervisory Councillor for Health in Atiba Local Government, a position he held until 2011.
