Sheriff Adeojo, wife honours with Parakoyi Chieftaincy title

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has been installed as the Parakoyi of Ido Local Government in appreciation of his giant strides to the development of the local government.

Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo was conferred with the Chieftaincy title of Parakoyi of Ido Local Government while his wife, Mrs. Kafayat Ifedolapo Adeojo was installed as Yeye Parakoyi of Ido Local Government by the Traditional Council of Ido Local Government under the leadership of Oba Adewoyin Akeem Mobolaji, the Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland.

While installing the Ido council boss as the Parakoyi of Ido Local Government, the chairman of the traditional council said the decision to honour Hon. Sheriff was the unanimous decision reached during the traditional council meeting in appreciation of the tremendous development brought to Ido by Sheriff Adeojo led administration.

The PDP party chairman, Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola was equally installed as Akinrogun of Ido local government for midwifed the chairman whose tenure has positive impacts on the people of the local government.

In his remarks after the installation, the newly installed Parakoyi of Ido Local Government, Hon Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, appreciated the traditional council for the honour bestowed on him and his wife as Parakoyi and Yeye Parakoyi respectively likewise, the PDP party chairman in Ido, as Akinrogun of Ido Local Government.

Hon. Sheriff said he was humble with the recognition of the achievement of his administration and promised the people of the local government to be on the lookout for more development from his administration.

The occasion witnessed the attendance of prominent people in the state, among which Hon. Lekan Badmos, Hon. Bayo Adepoju, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, ALGON and many others.
