LAGELU: Ajadi Commissions 500KVA Transformer in Ifedapo, Says Kamorudeen Making Local Communities Liveable

Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, the Oyo Central Senatorial Candidate for Allied People’s Movement (APM), on Saturday commissioned a 500KVA electricity transformer donated to the Ifedapo Residents Association in Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The transformer was provided by Lagelu LG chairman, Alh. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, under the leadership of the Oyo state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Ajadi praised the local government chairman for his focus on grassroots development, stating that Kamorudeen’s interventions are making local communities more liveable for residents.

“This intervention is another clear demonstration of a responsive leadership at the local government level. Chairman Kamorudeen is doing the tough work to improve the quality of life and make our communities more liveable,” Ajadi said.

Also present at the event was the Honourable Member representing Lagelu State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Akintunde Emmanuel (AKT), who joined the council chairman along with Director General and Deputy Director General of APM-Lagelu campaign council, for the commissioning.

Residents of Ifedapo welcomed the development, describing the new transformer as a major relief from persistent power supply challenges that have affected homes and businesses in the area.

The community association extended its heartfelt appreciation to the APM-led local government administration in Lagelu LGA, commending the council chairman for his great service to local communities.

The intervention forms part of broader efforts by the Lagelu Local Government under Mudashiru’s administration to deliver critical infrastructure and enhance service delivery across the council area, in line with the developmental agenda of the Seyi Makinde-led government in Oyo State.
