The Rotary Club of Lekki Gateway, in partnership with Arike Alajo 2020 Ltd, has empowered pupils and students with essential educational materials as part of its Back-to-School Programme held at Addo Primary School.

The programme brought together pupils, students, parents, community leaders and other dignitaries from Addo, Ajah, Badore, Owode, Langbasa, Oke Ora and Ira Nla.

Each beneficiary received a school bag, water bottle, writing materials and other essential educational supplies to support their preparation for the new academic term.

Speaking at the event, the Baale of Addo, High Chief Akeem Odedina, and the Imam of Owode, Alhaji Sulaimon Jabita, commended the Rotary Club of Lekki Gateway and Arike Alajo 2020 Ltd for their commitment to education, youth development and community service.

The President of the Rotary Club of Lekki Gateway, Rotarian Adeniyi Adams, reaffirmed the Club’s commitment to making a positive difference in society.

He said the Club “will continue to positively impact the society,” while expressing appreciation to Arike Alajo 2020 Ltd for its invaluable partnership and support towards the success of the programme.

The initiative underscores the importance of supporting children and young people with the basic educational resources they need to begin the school term with confidence and renewed enthusiasm.
