In a landmark move to support education and ease transportation for schoolchildren, the Oyo State Government, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, is set to launch the Omituntun Free Shuttle for Uniformed Students.

The free shuttle service will officially commence on Tuesday, 27th May 2025, in celebration of this year’s Children’s Day. It will operate every school day, providing safe and reliable transportation to and from school for students in uniform.

Initial Shuttle Routes:

Moniya – Mokola

Olodo – Gate

Amuloko – Gate

Idi-Ayunre – Molete

Olomi Eleta – Fatunsi

Muslim – Ayetoro – Mosfala – Odinjo

This initiative reflects the government’s unwavering commitment to inclusive governance and access to education, ensuring no child is left behind—regardless of age or background.
