The Oyo State Arewa community has commended stakeholders of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for their unwavering commitment to the growth of the party and the sustenance of democratic values following the successful conduct of the party’s primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement made available to journalists, the group described the primary election process as a reflection of the party’s unity, internal democracy, and collective determination to build a stronger political platform capable of providing quality leadership and good governance to the people.

The group congratulated the party’s flag bearers who emerged victorious from the primaries, including:

Seyi Makinde – Presidential Candidate

Bimbo Adekanmbi – Governorship Candidate

Hon. Stanley Adedeji (Odidi Omo) – Oyo South Senatorial Candidate

Hon. Fola Oyekunle – House of Representatives Candidate, Ibadan North Federal Constituency

The statement also extended congratulations to other successful candidates, expressing confidence in their ability to represent the aspirations of the people and contribute to the party’s success in the forthcoming elections.

According to the group, the peaceful and transparent conduct of the primaries demonstrates the maturity of the party and its readiness to offer credible leadership at all levels.
