OYO LAWMAKER, HON. OLUWAFEMI FOWOKANMI BETTERLIFE, COMMENDS GOV. SEYI MAKINDE OVER SUCCESSFUL RESCUE OF ORIRE ABDUCTED TEACHERS AND PUPILS

The lawmaker representing Ibadan South West Constituency II in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oluwafemi Fowokanmi, popularly known as Betterlife, has commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, for the successful rescue of the abducted teachers and pupils in Orire Local Government Area of the state.

In a statement released on Friday, Hon. Fowokanmi described the rescue operation as a clear demonstration of Governor Makinde’s unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property across Oyo State. He noted that the swift intervention of the state government, in collaboration with security agencies, has once again proven that the safety and security of residents remain a top priority of the Makinde administration.

According to the lawmaker, the successful rescue has brought relief to the affected families, communities, and the entire state, while also strengthening public confidence in the government’s security efforts.

Hon. Fowokanmi praised Governor Makinde for his proactive leadership and consistent support for security agencies, stressing that the governor’s investment in security infrastructure and intelligence gathering has continued to yield positive results.
