Amb. Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, APM Senatorial Candidate for Oyo Central, has donated ₦20 million from his personal funds to traders affected by the recent fire outbreak at Bola-Ige International Business Complex, New Gbagi, Ibadan.
Ajadi announced the donation on Monday, November 2, 2026, during an assessment visit alongside Oyo State ALGON Chairman, Hon. Sikiru Oyedele Sanda, and Egbeda State Constituency lawmaker, Hon. Olasunkanmi Samson Babalola.
The delegation sympathised with the affected traders, whose shops and goods were destroyed in the October 29 fire outbreak. Ajadi called on the government, organisations and well-meaning Nigerians to support the victims in rebuilding their businesses.
Sanda assured the traders of efforts to draw government attention to their plight, while Babalola said he was pursuing a matter of urgent public importance at the Oyo State House of Assembly to secure government intervention.

Market leaders, including Babaloja-General Alhaji Y.K. Abass, commended the delegation for its support and solidarity with the affected traders.
