OYO LAWMAKER, AKT COMMENDS LAGELU CHAIRMAN, KAMORUDEEN, OVER DONATION OF 500KVA TRANSFORMER TO IFEDAPO RESIDENTS

The Member representing Lagelu State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Chief Whip of the House and Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Olajide Akintunde, popularly known as AKT, has commended the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, for donating a 500KVA electricity transformer to the Ifedapo Residents Association in Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Hon. Akintunde described the donation as a significant intervention aimed at addressing the electricity needs of residents and improving the quality of life within the community.

He noted that the provision of the transformer would contribute to improved electricity supply, boost socioeconomic activities and provide relief to residents who have been affected by power supply challenges.

The lawmaker also acknowledged the importance of responsive leadership and collaboration between elected representatives and local government authorities in delivering meaningful development to communities.

He urged residents of Ifedapo to protect and maintain the facility to ensure its long-term benefits, while encouraging the local government chairman to sustain his commitment to grassroots development across the local government.

Hon. Akintunde reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives and policies that promote community development, improve infrastructure and enhance the welfare of the people of Lagelu.
