Ottawa Event: Dapo Odumosu Jr. Amplifies Senator Yayi’s 2027 Governorship Aspiration in Canada

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi)’s governorship aspiration received a significant boost over the weekend as support for his 2027 bid continued to grow among Ogun indigenes in the diaspora.

At the Asa Day Festival organised by the Isokan Yoruba Society in Ottawa, Canada, Dapo Odumosu Jr., son of Asiwaju Oladapo Odumosu, Senior Consultant on Political Matters to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, joined other Ogun indigenes in projecting Senator Yayi’s vision for the state. He was accompanied by Asiwaju Odumosu’s nephew, Biyi Ayoola, as they proudly displayed the Ogun State banner at the colourful cultural event.

Addressing participants, Dapo Odumosu Jr. said Senator Yayi has earned the confidence of many Ogun people through his remarkable achievements and people-centred leadership. He highlighted Yayi’s investments in road infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, youth empowerment and other developmental initiatives, describing him as a leader with the experience, capacity and proven track record to move Ogun State forward.

He added that Yayi has consistently demonstrated genuine commitment to the welfare of the people through impactful projects across the state, making him well-positioned to provide purposeful and inclusive leadership.

The endorsement by Ogun indigenes in Canada underscores the growing momentum behind Senator Yayi’s governorship aspiration, reflecting increasing confidence among the diaspora in his vision for a more prosperous and progressive Ogun State.
