OTOPE Congratulates Hon. Busari Olayemi on Reappointment as DG, Abuja/Lagos Liaison Office

The Immediate past Director-General of the Liaison Office for Abuja and Lagos, and House of Representatives Candidate for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Hon. (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), has extended heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Busari Olayemi on his reappointment as Director-General of the Abuja/Lagos Liaison Office.

In a statement signed and released to the press on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, by Dr. Oladimeji’s Media Aide, Mr. Segun Akinlabi, OTOPE described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Hon. Olayemi’s capacity, experience, and consistent dedication to public service.

He noted that the confidence reposed in Hon. Olayemi by Governor Seyi Makinde reflects his competence and proven track record in governance and political administration.

“On behalf of Hon. (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), we congratulate Hon. Busari Olayemi on his reappointment and pray for divine wisdom, renewed strength, and greater accomplishments in this new assignment,” the statement read.

Governor Seyi Makinde had earlier approved the appointment of former House of Representatives member, Hon. Busari Olayemi, as the new Director-General of the Abuja/Lagos Liaison Office.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was confirmed in a statement issued by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba (Dr.) Segun Ogunwuyi.

Olayemi, who previously served as Executive Adviser on Intra-Party Affairs, succeeds Hon. (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, who resigned from the position to pursue his political ambition. The development also marks a return to a familiar office, as Olayemi had earlier occupied the same role during Governor Makinde’s first term in office.
