The Odidiomo Youth Mobilisation Directorate has intensified its grassroots engagement with youths and community stakeholders across Ibadan, as the campaign team visited Fanawole-Ori-Are, Apete, for a purposeful interaction with residents.
The engagement was led by the Director-General of Youth Mobilisation and Strategy of the Odidiomo Campaign Organisation, Seun Fakorede, who said the meeting provided an opportunity for the team to listen to the concerns of young people and community stakeholders, share its political vision and encourage greater participation in the political process.
Fakorede said the movement was not limited to the ambition of a single candidate, but was focused on mobilising support for the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) candidates across Oyo State.
He listed the candidates as the party’s Presidential Candidate, Engr. Seyi Makinde; Gubernatorial Candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi; and Oyo South Senatorial Candidate, Rt. Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, popularly known as Odidiomo, alongside other APM candidates across the state.

According to him, the Directorate is committed to strengthening grassroots participation by taking its message to communities, streets and constituencies across Oyo State.
“Our message was clear: this movement is bigger than one candidate. We are building a united political structure anchored on people, participation and progress,” Fakorede said.
He added that the campaign’s youth mobilisation strategy was aimed at encouraging young people to become active participants in shaping the political and developmental direction of the state.
“We are not merely asking our people to vote; we are inviting them to own the future. The future belongs to those who organise for it, participate in it and have the courage to build it,” he said.
The Apete engagement forms part of the Directorate’s ongoing grassroots mobilisation activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
