The Allied Peoples Movement House of Representatives candidate for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT, has urged residents of Oyo State to embrace hope and unity as they step into the month of June.

In a New Month message made available to journalists on Monday, ADLAT expressed concern over the recent kidnapping incident in Oriire Local Government Area, describing it as a painful development that has cast a shadow over many families across the state.

He prayed for the safe return of the victims and commended security agencies for ongoing efforts to secure their release.

“As we welcome the month of June, our thoughts and prayers remain with the victims of the unfortunate kidnapping incident in Oriire and their families. We pray for their safe return and ask God to grant their loved ones strength and comfort during this difficult period,” he said.

The federal lawmaker hopeful-turned-candidate also reaffirmed his support for Governor Seyi Makinde, whom he described as his principal, noting that the administration’s developmental strides have continued to inspire confidence among the people.

According to him, the vision of Omituntun 3.0 represents a new phase of growth, improved security, infrastructure development, and economic prosperity for Oyo State and Nigeria as a country.

ADLAT called on residents of Akinyele, Lagelu,Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole to remain steadfast, united, and committed to supporting initiatives that promote peace and development.

“While challenges remain, we must not lose faith in the future. June should renew our confidence in the possibilities ahead and strengthen our collective resolve to build on the gains of Omituntun for the benefit of all our people,” he added.

He wished residents a peaceful, prosperous, and fulfilling month of June.
