Makinde/Adekanmbi Campaign Youth Director, Bolarinwa Takes APM Message to Bodija Youths

The Director of Youth Mobilisation for the Makinde/Adekanmbi Campaign Organisation, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, has taken the campaign message of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) to the Bodija Youths Movement in Ibadan as part of intensified youth engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting, which held in Bodija, brought together youth leaders, community influencers and members of the Bodija Youths Movement, who gathered to interact with the campaign team on the vision and plans of the APM.

Addressing the gathering, Bolarinwa said the engagement was part of a deliberate strategy to carry young people along in the political process and ensure their active participation in shaping the future of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

He explained that the Makinde/Adekanmbi Campaign Organisation is working to build a broad coalition of youth support for the APM, noting that young people remain a critical force in any election.

Bolarinwa urged members of the group to support all candidates of the APM from the presidential, senatorial and House of Representatives elections to the governorship and State House of Assembly elections.

According to him, a total victory for the party across board will guarantee continuity, stability and accelerated development.

He said the APM remains committed to sustaining the developmental strides recorded in Oyo State in recent years, particularly in areas of infrastructure, education, youth empowerment and economic growth.

“What we have achieved in Oyo State in terms of development must not be reversed. Under the APM, we will not only sustain these achievements but expand them to reach more communities and more young people,” Bolarinwa said.

He assured the youths that the APM administration, with the Makinde/Adekanmbi ticket, will create more opportunities for skills development, entrepreneurship, employment and leadership for young people, adding that youth inclusion will be central to its policies.

Bolarinwa also commended the Bodija Youths Movement for its organisation and relevance in community mobilisation, describing the group as a vibrant and progressive force in Ibadan.

Responding on behalf of the group, leaders of the Bodija Youths Movement appreciated Bolarinwa and the campaign organisation for recognising the importance of the youth constituency and for bringing the party’s message directly to them.

They said the engagement has strengthened their understanding of the APM’s agenda and pledged to mobilise support for the party and its candidates at the polls.

The meeting ended with discussions on further collaboration, grassroots mobilisation and plans to take the APM message to other youth groups across Ibadan and Oyo State.
