LG ELECTION: HON. AYANWALE TAIWO KAMEEL DECLARES INTENTION TO CONTEST FOR IDO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMANSHIP

My Dear APM Ido Local Government Family,

With profound gratitude to God Almighty and a strong sense of responsibility, I, Hon. Ayanwale Taiwo Kameel, hereby officially declare my intention to contest for the office of Chairman of Ido Local Government in the forthcoming 2026 Local Government Elections.

I previously served as a candidate for the House of Representatives under the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) in the 2023 general election, and I remain committed to the ideals of grassroots development, progressive leadership, and service to humanity.

This decision is driven by my passion to serve our people with honesty, transparency, accountability, and dedication. I strongly believe that our local government can achieve greater progress through purposeful leadership, inclusive governance, youth empowerment, women development, improved healthcare delivery, quality education, infrastructure development, enhanced security, and sustainable support for farmers, traders, artisans, and small-scale businesses.

Our people deserve a government that listens, responds effectively, and delivers meaningful development to every community without discrimination. Together, we can build a local government where every citizen has equal opportunity to thrive and succeed.
