The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, has extended warm congratulations to distinguished Ibadan indigene and global development advocate, Kunle Yusuff, MON, Fincsd, on his recent appointment as a United Nations Ambassador.
The landmark recognition was formalised at the UNGA High-Level Global Executive Roundtable Side Event held at Conference Room 11, United Nations Headquarters, New York. During the event, CSCHEI (Civil Society Organization on Community Advancement and Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative) specifically commended the Government of Nigeria for its notable progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), climate action, primary health care, basic education, and the impactful work of the National Agency for the Great Green Wall.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Hon. Kamorudeen described Yusuff’s elevation as a source of immense pride not only to Oyo State, but to Nigeria as a whole.
