The Councillor representing Ward 10 in Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon. Raheem Ganiyu Adebayo, popularly known as OLOHUNWA, has facilitated the installation of 15 solar-powered street lights across strategic locations within the ward as part of his commitment to improving public safety, enhancing nighttime movement, and supporting grassroots development.
The solar street lights were installed at Olola Ogunle Street, the Olodogbo/Dagilogba area, Aaresa Street, Alago Area, and Closed Road, Oke Ado, bringing much-needed illumination to the affected communities.
Residents of the benefiting areas have expressed appreciation for the intervention, describing it as timely and impactful.
They noted that the project has significantly improved security, eased movement at night, and enhanced the overall wellbeing of the community.

Hon. Adebayo commended the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon. Kehinde Akande, for his transparent, accountable, and people-oriented leadership, noting that his administration has continued to create an enabling environment for developmental projects across the local government.
According to the councillor, Hon. Akande’s commitment to good governance, transparency, and accountability has inspired elected representatives to complement the council’s efforts through impactful constituency projects.
Hon. Adebayo reaffirmed his commitment to attracting more developmental projects to Ward 10, assuring residents that their welfare, security, and overall development would remain his top priorities.
