IBSWLG Chairman, Hon. Kehinde Akande Welcomes Oyo APM Governorship Candidate, Hon.Adekanmbi to Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency for Thank You Visit

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon. Kehinde Akande, will welcome the Oyo State APM Governorship Candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, popularly known as Bimadec, to Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency for a “Thank You Visit” scheduled to hold at Johor Centre.

The event is expected to bring together party leaders, stakeholders, ward executives, youth groups, and women leaders from across the 23 wards of Ibadan South West and Ibadan North West Local Governments.

Hon. Kehinde Akande will lead other party chieftains and government officials to receive Hon. Adekanmbi and his entourage on arrival at the Jogor Centre venue.

Speaking ahead of the event, Hon. Akande said the visit will demonstrate APM’s commitment to the grassroots and to appreciating loyalty at the ward level.

“We will welcome our governorship candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, Bimadec, to Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency. This Thank You Visit will show that APM recognizes the sacrifices and support of our people. On behalf of Ibadan South West Local Government, we are ready to receive him,” Akande said.

Party sources said the visit will be organized to appreciate APM members for their dedication and to mobilize the base ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Hon. Adekanmbi is expected to address the gathering on the party’s plans for Oyo State, with focus on grassroots development, youth empowerment, healthcare, and education.

“This Thank You Visit will be an opportunity to say thank you to our people. We value the support for APM and we will build a party that listens to the grassroots. Ibadan South West/North West will have a pride of place in our plans for Oyo State,” Bimadec stated ahead of the visit.

APM leaders in the federal constituency said the event will further unite members and strengthen the party structure ahead of 2027.

The program will also feature goodwill messages from party leaders, candidates and stakeholders , as well as prayers for the success of APM and for peace and progress in Oyo State.

Political observers noted that the visit will reinforce APM’s strategy of consolidating its support base in Ibadan metropolis as preparations for the next election cycle begin.
