IBADAN NORTHWEST COUNCIL BOSS FELICITATES ENGR MAKINDE, DESCRIBES HIM AS A POLITICAL ICON.

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde has been described as a leader with Charistmatic and exemplary qualities that are Iconic and worth emulating.

The words of commendation were made by the Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alh AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju in his goodwill message in marking His Excellency, Engr Oluwaseyi Makinde’s sixth year anniversary in office as the Executive Governor of Oyo state.

According to the Council Boss, six years of His Excellency’s dedicated service, unwavering commitment and visionary leadership have transformed the state, impact lives and shaping a brighter future.

Alh Adepoju maintained that the countless success recorded by Engr Makinde as an Executive Governor was not only for him but the entire citizens of the Pacesetter state.

The Chairman further eulogised His Excellency noting that his initiatives and policies have driven growth development and growth to the state. Addi g that, His doggedness, boundless energy, visionary leadership and commitment to
the development of the state and the country made him stand out among his counterparts.

While Congratulating the Governor on his sixth year anniversary in office, the Executive Chairman stressed that the people of Oyo state are proud to have him again as their Executive Governor noting that His unprecedented achievements since assumption of office were overwhelming. Among which were regular payments of workers and Pensioners’ salaries, reconstruction and rehabilitations of roads, good health care delivery, free qualitative education, abolition of #3,000 levies on students, emergence of Amotekun, flagged off of light up Oyo state projects, recruitment exercise across various sectors in the state among others.

He affirmed that Engr. Makinde has laid foundation for a modern Oyo state seamlessly building on the four service point agenda of security,health, education and Economic expansion through Agricultural value chain.

He said “we commend your tireless efforts to improve infrastructures, healthcare services,
education and the economy. Your leadership has inspired hope and confidence in all the citizens”.

The Council Boss maintained that with all the aforementioned achievements of Governor Makinde, it is not a gainsaying that His Excellency deserves enconmium as an exemplary leader.

The Executive Chairman Congratulated all residents of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Oyo state and Nigeria as whole for witnessing another democratic dispensation but solicited for their relentless supports in making the present Administration achieve its desired goals.

In the same vein, Alh Rahman Adepoju on behalf of all his working cabinet, party stakeholders, management staff and Residents of Ibadan Northwest Local Government rejoice with His Excellency, Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde as he marks his sixth year anniversary in office today as the Executive Governor of Oyo state.
