The Ibadan Elite Group, comprising artisans, civil servants, pensioners, and members of the diaspora, has commended Engineer Abimbola Adekanbi for his courageous decision to resign from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.
The group described his move as a bold and progressive step towards aligning with the will of the people and advancing the political and socio-economic development of the state.
According to the group, Engr. Adekanbi’s decision to quit what they referred to as a “dead and divided party” demonstrates integrity, vision, and commitment to genuine service.
They further expressed their readiness to work with Engr. Adekanbi as he joins the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), encouraging other well-meaning citizens to follow his example in pursuit of unity and progress for Oyo State.
