The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has donated six brand-new motorcycles to some security agencies in the council area, bolstering efforts to maintain peace and security.
The presentation took place immediately after the monthly security meeting with representatives from all agencies operating in Ido Local Government at the Executive Hall Ido local government.
Beneficiaries include Operation Burst Ido LG, Police Division Ido, Ido LG Immigration Office, Police Division Apete, Police Division Ologunerun and Police Division Omi Adio.
While handing over the motorcycles, Hon. Adeojo commended the agencies for their tireless efforts in ensuring peace across every corner of Ido.
“Ido remains the safest place in Oyo State, aside from the occasional herdsmen challenges, which by God’s grace, will soon be a thing of the past,” he stated.
The Chairman charged the recipients and all security agencies to remain committed and loyal in their duties, assuring them of his utmost support.
“With tools like these, we will continue to make Ido a secure haven for all residents,” he added.
The event was witnessed by the Vice Chairman/Political Head Omi Apata LCDA- Barrister Olayemi Oluwashina, the Secretary to the local government – Alhaji Kamorudeen Gbadamosi, the Chief of Staff to the Executive chairman-
Hon. Yahaya AbdulAzeez, the Head of Local Government Administration- Alhaji Sarafadeen Aminu among others.
