Hon. Niyi Adebisi, the House of Representatives candidate for the Saki West/Saki East/Atisbo Federal Constituency under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) ahead of the 2027 general elections, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic killing of a government school teacher who was abducted by suspected kidnappers in Oyo State.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Adebisi described the incident as heartbreaking and painful, extending his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the people of the affected communities, and the Oyo State Government.
He sympathized with the families of the victims and prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul, while also wishing quick recovery and emotional healing for those affected by the unfortunate incident.

Adebisi further commended the efforts of the Oyo State Government and security agencies for their swift intervention and rescue operations, noting that their commitment to protecting lives and restoring peace deserves recognition.

He, however, called for intensified security measures across the state, especially in vulnerable rural communities, stressing the need for stronger collaboration between security agencies, local vigilantes, and community leaders to curb the growing threat of kidnapping and insecurity.

According to him, safeguarding the lives and property of citizens must remain a top priority, adding that every stakeholder must work collectively to ensure that such tragic incidents do not reoccur.

He concluded by urging residents to remain vigilant and continue supporting security agencies with credible information that could help in tackling criminal activities across the state.
