Hon. Abiodun Oni (Asiko), the House of Representatives candidate for the Olorunsogo/Oorelope/Irepo Federal Constituency under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) ahead of the 2027 general elections, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic killing of a government school teacher abducted by suspected kidnappers in Oyo State.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Oni described the incident as heartbreaking and deeply painful.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the affected communities, and the Oyo State Government.

He sympathized with the families of the victims and prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul.


He also wished those affected by the unfortunate incident strength, emotional healing, and quick recovery from the trauma.


Hon. Oni further commended the efforts of the Oyo State Government and security agencies in their ongoing rescue operations and commitment to tackling insecurity across the state.

He emphasized the need for stronger collaboration among security agencies, local communities, and government authorities to curb kidnapping and other criminal activities.
He urged residents to remain vigilant and continue supporting security operatives with credible information that could help protect lives and property.
According to him, “The recurring cases of kidnapping and insecurity are alarming and require collective action from all stakeholders.
We must continue to work together to ensure that our communities remain safe and peaceful.”

He prayed that such tragic incidents would not reoccur in Oyo State and across the country.
